Go speed racer!

Not sure if you guys know or not but Josh got fourth place in the car race for Awanas on Wed. I didn't get to see the race since I was sick but Eric went.

Thank goodness for my blog because yesterday my computer shut down and I lost all of my files. I have no idea what happened. All I know is when we got home our clocks were blinking like the lights had gone out. I lost all my pictures of the boys when they were babies. The only ones that I have left are the ones from my blog. :(

Oh and not to mention that I am at home sick with the flu!!!! What else could go wrong!

Wrestling with the dad

This is what my afternoon usually consists of... The boys wrestle with their dad until someone gets hurt and then the party is over. They love to jump all over him and ride him like a horse.

Josh says "let's tickle him " Eric is very ticklish and the boys know exactly where to tickle him at.

And then they start playing dodge ball. I swear I have three kids!

Wednesday

I almost forgot about these... This is Elijah's favorite blanket. When I first got it, it was so nice and soft and now it's gross and smelly. Seriously, I have had several people tell me that it looks like a towel and not a blanket. And when I do wash it, he tells me that it doesn't smell good. He would rather it smell funky. I just had to get a picture of him with his blanket!

This is the way he walks around the house all day. Always wrapped around his head.

I feel so bad because all of my photos lately have been of Elijah! Hopefully I can gets some of Josh this weekend. It's kind of hard cause he's at school all day long and by the time he gets home he's tired and doesn't really want to smile. Anyway I took a few pics of Elijah yesterday before we went to church. And yes his face is dirty from the pizza he was eating. Of course they can never stay clean. Oh well, I just love his cute little hat and thought I would get a few pics of him wearing it!

Lost Armadillo!

Elijah and I were coming home from dropping off Eric and Oh my goodness there was an Armadillo in the neighbors yard. Sorry that it's not a great picture of him but I only had my phone to take a pic. I left my camera at home. And also I was scared of it and didn't want to get off the car. Anyway I think the poor animal is lost. Or maybe he is blind and doesn't know where he is at! lol So this was my high light of the day! :)

~Today~

This is how we spend most of our mornings. I've been working with Elijah on his potty training and he's doing very well. I mean he isn't 100% potty trained but at least he is working on it. I know eventually he will get it done! Don't worry Katie, I never thought he was even going to be interested. I think it helps having a big brother to motivate him!

Elijah's fall

I don't have any pics to post but I just want to give you an update on Elijah's fall. He fell yesterday off our stairs and hurt his little arm. He fell off like the tenth step so it was pretty high. I took him to the ER just because I wanted to make sure that he didn't break anything. You can never be to sure! Anyway they took x-rays and everything came out fine. There was just some swelling but thank God there weren't any broken bones. Today he was back to his normal self .... getting in to trouble! Thanks for praying for him guys. It's a blessing having you guys in our lives.

Talented musicians

Okay we seriously have some talented musicians in this house. I caught the boys hanging out with their daddy! I hope the boys get their dad's talent and play in church one day just like him.

Cowboy Fans

Well as you all know yesterday was a BIG game for the Cowboys and even though they didn't win we are still a fan. I took pictures of the boys in their little Cowboy jerseys. Daddy's favorite team! ;) Anyhow I'm sure they will be in the Superbowl next year!

Flash Back!

Okay so I'm posting these pics of my boys when they were little bitty! I was around all the babies at church tonight and gosh it seems like just yesterday mine were that small. Oh my gosh we were so young!

Most of you have seen Elijah's new hair cut, it was just time for a new look! Well he really likes it and I think I do to! It makes him look older. Yeah the curly hair was cute but too much maintenance. By the way he's been potty training and doing pretty good. I mean I don't expect for it to happen over night or should I???? Ha yeah I wish! It's okay we aren't giving up yet :)

Just another day

It almost feels as though we are in Texas again. Well, just with the way the weather has been lately. In Texas you can be wearing shorts one day and the next a jacket. It's crazy how unpredictable the weather can be. Anyway, I opened the window today to kinda let the house air out and besides, it was nice out. Well I caught Elijah up on the window seal and he was picking at my almost dead rose bush. It still has a little green on it but for the most part it's dead. Anyhow he thought the leaves were flowers and he kept picking them. He kept saying here mom a flower... Ya thanks, It's more like here mom a mess for you to pick up.

Play Time!

We finally went outside for a while today and I took some pictures of the boys. It's been so cold lately that all I want to do is snuggle up and watch movies... Well these boys have too much energy and they were driving me crazy!








I cropped Elijah out because he was making one of those funny faces again. Looking at Josh in this picture makes me so sad. He's growing up too fast! I can't believe he will be 7 in a few months.

We can't wait for him to play T-ball! He's our little all star!
