For his birthday this year Elijah wanted "Art stuff" That's what he calls it. So my sis who is the best bought him an easel and tons of "Art stuff" He loves to color and paint so we took it outside yesterday and enjoyed the weather and let him do what he does best.

We painted,colored, and blew bubbles. Sara had a blast watching him. Not to mention that she was also doing therapy in her monkey and didn't even know it.

We had our first game and of course Eli did great! He's just so awesome at this sport. I hate to brag but I am just so proud of my little guy.

My baby turned 6 this month and he chose Angry birds as his theme. He loves angry birds game and any chance he gets he tries to play it on my phone. We celebrated his birthday at Gattis town. He had a blast with all of his cousins and friends.

He is excited to be in the double digits but I have to admit I am a little sad. He was super excited for this day and this is how we spent it...

I'm sorry I have been slacking in this department but between facebook and Sara's blog I just simply forget about this one...

I'm sure most of you heard the email I sent to pastor about Sara... We have been so amazed at how far she has come and how the Lord has just been constantly showing himself strong in her life. A few weeks ago I noticed as Sara was sleeping that she rolled her ankle. At first I thought I was just seeing things. You know sometimes if you want something so bad you can sit and stare and it might seem as though its happening. But for me it was different because she DID move it. There's more movement in the left than the right but that's okay... I'll take what I can get! I know I was bummed that she was going to have to wear this Spica cast for 8 weeks but I actually think it was a blessing in disguise. Sara has been doing really good. Its overwhelming at everything that the Lord has been providing for us. We were able to bump up our insurance so that it would cover more of Sara's medical... which meant more out of our pocket a month for insurance BUT then the Lord provided Eric with a great job that gave him a raise so its as if we don't even realize the difference we are paying for the insurance. I'm telling you God is providing our EVERY need. It's amazing to be living a life where HE is showing us all these miracles. She is definitely one of them and I know that a year ago at this time I was an emotional mess. I was scared and hurt. But the Lord held my hand every bit of the way and I am just so Thankful for his LOVE. I found my way back to him and it feels good. He never left me I just couldn't see clearly. He was there this whole time:)

SO to my church family I just want to say THANK YOU for keeping us in your prayers, For not forgetting us and our baby girl.

We love you guys Oh so very much!

Please forgive me friends, I've been slacking in this area. Here are a few pics of Halloween, Elijah's field trip to the Texas State Aquarium and His Pow Wow at school. The last pic was taken on Thanksgiving.
We celebrated Thanksgiving with our family here in Corpus. Last year at this time our family was going through alot with just finding out about Sara's SB. So it was a little emotional this week for me but God carried me through it just like he did last year. I am so very Thankful for my children, my husband, my family and our friends. And now I will have to get ready for Sara's first birthday which is next weekend!! :)

We did the whole pumpkin carving and pumpkin patch this past weekend. Even though it feels nothing like fall... It's still 80 degree weather. I am definitely missing Oklahoma weather right about now:)

The boys started their first day of school in a new city this week. I think Josh was more nervous than anyone. He's in 4Th grade this year. Elijah went to all day Kindergarten this year. Pre-K was only two hours so this was a big change for him but he did great. They both love their school and have been making tons of friends. Here are a few pics of my boys on their first day.

We celebrated the 4th of July with our family. My sis came up for the weekend and we went to a BBQ at my aunts house. It was fun! We went to ocean drive to see the fireworks that night. I forgot how beautiful the beach is at night. My boys enjoyed running around with their cousins. All in all it was a great 4th of July!

It took a while to post since I was with out Internet for a while. We moved to Texas a few weeks ago and it has been one of the hardest things we have had to do. Don't get me wrong, I love being close to my family. It was just so hard leaving our church family. We love you guys so very much. Your friendships mean the world to us. We were so blessed to have found Friendship Baptist Church. Thank you all for loving our family and caring for our children as if they were your own. Here are a few pics of our boys and their buds:)

This past week we celebrated my little guys 5Th birthday. I can't believe that my baby boy is 5. For some reason it's a big deal for me. I guess it's because he will be going to Kindergarten next year. And he lets me know this every single day when I pick him up from school. It seems as though every year is going by faster and faster. Not something I am ready for. He's my baby and always will be :)

They are such good helpers:) Josh loves to hold her and help with getting me the diapers when its time to change her. Elijah, not so much. He asks what is in the diaper first before he throws it in the trash.
I didn't realize how hard it is to get all three ready and fed. I'm hoping it will get a little easier. Maybe if my sweet princess would sleep a little more;)
She sleeps every two hours and every now and then she will sleep 4 hours. I know eventually it will get better. Right??

Finally we are home and it feels so good to be a family. These past two weeks were super hard. I missed my boys so much and felt so torn. I know that I needed to be there with my baby girl but at the same time I felt sad that my boys didn't have their momma.

But now there is no more sadness. We are together and that's all that matters. I can't thank everyone enough for all your prayers, love and support. We are very blessed to have you guys in our lives. Thanks again:)

I'm sure this has happened to most of you...
Ever go to church on Sunday and sit through the preaching and feel like the pastor is talking just to you. As if there is no one else in the room. That's exactly what happened to me today.
I'm so Thankful that I went to church today because I really needed to hear everything that was said.

First of all I just want to say that I am very THANKFUL for my friends. Girls you know who you are. You make living here in Oklahoma so much easier. It's hard being far away from my mom and my sister but having you in my life makes everyday easier.

I'm THANKFUL that My son has such a loving teacher. It makes my heart happy:)

And most importantly I'm THANKFUL for God who loves me more than I will ever know, my family, My amazing husband, the two most gorgeous boys ever and our wonderful, beautiful princess.

Regardless of the challenges that we are facing right now I'm still so very thankful. I can't believe that in a few weeks I will have a daughter... Yes a daughter whom I have been waiting for, for a long time. And she will be perfect no matter what because she was sent to us from our heavenly father.

So with all this said I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who is praying for us.

So I just wanted to brag a little on my super star. I am so amazed at how great Elijah has been doing this season. He never complains about going out there and playing. I mean seriously this kid is awesome:) For the past two games Elijah has played all four quarters because the kids on his team are either crying that they want their mom or just not interested. He never complains though. He has so much drive it's unbelievable. I'm so proud of my little guy:)

PUMPKIN PATCH FUN!

I met Elijah's class out at the pumpkin patch today... It was freezing out, The wind was terrible but the kids didn't seem to mind. He was super excited about riding the bus. It was the topic of our conversation all weekend long. He says he wishes he could ride the bus everyday. Too bad he has to go to school all the way at Stone Canyon:( Maybe next year he will get a chance to ride with his big brother on the bus. Mom will probably be following the bus the whole way to school... I just don't think he is big enough, but don't tell him I said that;)

So today E and I celebrate our 9 yr anniversary. I am so blessed to have him in my life. Without him I wouldn't have a relationship with God. As you know I was raised a catholic so when I met Eric he was the one that actually took me to church and encouraged me to build a relationship with the Lord. I know he was put in my life for a reason:)

So honey on this very special day I just want to say that I love you oh so very much and I thank God for you every day.

Elijah had his first soccer game today. He got to play against some of his best buddies. Cooper, Brenden & one of his favorite girls... Ella:) He had so much fun running out there and scoring some goals. He's improved so much since last season. I'm so very proud of him:)

Now that Elijah is in Mrs. Pam's class he says he is a big boy and loves to be in her class. He gets a little sad when she has to leave second hour but I tell him she has to go to the big church. Here he is with his cute little projects that they make in Sunday school. I thought the necklace was pretty cool. He says he got it for being good... I use to love those when I was little:)

Well we don't have bees in our bed... but that is what we were reading about tonight. I stopped off at the library today to get some books for the boys. Josh has an obsession for bees. He's actually very scared of them and wont go outside if he sees them flying by. It's kinda annoying when we are at the park and he sees one because he freaks out so badly that we sometimes have to end up going home. He's never been stung by one but he saw my mom get stung by one and I think it traumatized him. So we are working on reading more about them to see if maybe it will ease his mind a bit and maybe he wont be so frightened by them.

Even I learned some very interesting facts about bees:)

A date...

So I took the boys to breakfast this morning... Just the three of us since daddy got home from the mid and I knew he needed to sleep. (what a good wife I am) Anyway I told the boys to get dressed so that we could go on a date. When Josh was little we would always go to breakfast together... Just the two of us and he always called it a date. So today the three of us went on a date to IHOP. It was oh so yummy!
This is the funny part... Elijah said mom since we are on a date can I kiss you??? I thought to myself what in the world... where did you get that from? So he says well when you go on a date your suppose to kiss the girl when its over. I said no, there would be no kissing on this date or any date that he goes on in the future. Goodness he is only four years old and thinks he has to kiss the girl when he goes on a date.

Eric was home for the day so we decided to take the boys fishing. They just love it and I know Eric loves that they enjoy going with him. We had to make a quick stop at Walmart and get Elijah a new fishing pole since he broke his. We got him a cool Transformers one.

Today was the first day of school and my boys were super excited! I didn't even have to wake them up and get them ready... They got up all on their own and came down stairs ready to go. Josh is really looking forward to this year because he got an awesome teacher. Plus one of his good buddies is in his class. Elijah was a bit nervous but after picking him up he said he loved school and can't wait to go back tomorrow. He says his teacher is really nice:)

Well as most of you know we went for our ultrasound today and they said it's a

I think I am in denial just because I mean I have two boys whats the chance right? So I hope that in a few months we can get another ultrasound done so that we can be for sure! I mean the tech did say she was only 95% sure so that 5% is still in the back of my head. lol

We were able to take Josh in with us and he loved every minute of it. He thought it was the coolest ever. He loves that he is going to have a baby sister. He hopes she will be chubby just like Ruby:)

Elijah stayed with Melissa only because we knew that he wouldn't stay still. When we picked him up and told him about baby sister.... He cried. Big wow there... I knew he was going to be upset... After a few minutes of crying and begging me to have a boy I told him that I would take him to McDonald's and we could talk about it there. So now he says maybe we can have a sister. "Maybe" Well hopefully he will get over it soon because there's no turning back now! So there you have it and if your wondering her name will be...

On one of the days that we were in Houston we decided to take the boys out to the Kemah Boardwalk. This place was completely washed over when hurricane Ike hit. It was nice to see things back up again. If you love sea food this is the place to go. Its' right on Galveston bay.

We had a family fun day on Tuesday and took the boys to see the movie UP. It was a really good movie so if you haven't seen it... you really should. Then later that night we went bowling. They had tons of fun.

Well it seems as though I have a bit of catchin' up to do. I had been really sick with all day sickness that getting on the computer didn't sound good to me. I had a few bad days that all I wanted to do was lay in bed and sleep... I'm actually starting to feel much better and actually hungry for food. Which is great because I LOVE FOOD!

Today was my First doctor's appointment and it went very well. I am measuring 9wks and 6 days. We got to see the baby and it was so awesome knowing that everything was good. The boys thought the sono pics were kinda weird... Josh asked why the baby had such a big head. I thought that was pretty funny!

And now here are some pics of my crazy little boys. We decided to take out the slip N slide that Elijah got for his birthday. (Thanks Ella) They had so much fun!

We celebrated Elijah's birthday at the YMCA this weekend... Let's just say I was a bit worried that we weren't going to swim because of all the lightning and thunder we had been getting. I seriously didn't know what I was going to do. We got lucky though and it managed to stop raining during the party. The kids love to go swimming at the Y. Josh has been trying so hard to pass his swim test so that he could get on the big boy slide and yesterday he finally passed it. This first pic is of him heading up the stairs to go down the slide.

Today we brought our little boy Elijah into this world. We are so blessed to have him in our lives. Josh loves his little brother and was so excited when we told him he was born. I will have to say that my labor with Elijah was a breeze. I went into the hospital at 7am and delivered at 8:15am. That's right 1hr and 15 minutes!! He is such a good kid even though he is full of energy. I think that's what we love most about him:) He keeps me on my toes :)

Sponge Bob

So I went to the groceries the other day and I decided to buy a pineapple. Well when I brought it home Elijah asked why I brought Sponge Bob's house home. I said well we are going to eat it. He wasn't too happy about that and started talking to the pineapple as though SBob was real. He kept asking where the door was to Sponge Bob's house. It was so funny! The things kids come up with...

And we had our little buddy Blaine come over last week. I just love him. He is such a good baby.
Elijah was a good helper too!

He was a bit upset... He saw Eric and started crying... lol I think he's going through that separation anxiety. After a while he got over it.

We didn't let the weather stop us from going out today... Crazy people you might think but we were bored and don't really like being at home on the weekend. We took the boys to Build A Bear. They both decided to make bunnies since Easter is around the corner. Josh name his Peter Cottontail and Elijah named his Floppy.

Of course once we got home the boys begged me to go out and build a snowman. I didn't take too many pictures of us outside. We were too busy having fun:)

Elijah's 1st soccer game

Elijah had his first soccer game today at the YMCA. It was so much fun watching him run around and get the ball. He is actually really good and was able to score a goal. Unfortunately the ref blew the whistle right before the ball went into the goal so it didn't count. Even though it didn't count for a point... it counted for us and we were very proud of him. He understood the concept of the game and that's all that matters. He is definitely soccer material. He loves the game and cannot wait till his next game. Whats going on is this...
Most of you know that we would like to be closer to our family. From day one when we moved here we knew that this was temporary. We knew that eventually we would like to move to Corpus and live closer to our family.

Well my friends that day has finally been set. My wonderful husband accepted a job this morning for August of 2010 at the Corpus Christi facility. You might think gosh 2010 that seems far away but to us it's something we have to look forward to.

Dentist Appt.

Well this is how I spent my morning... I didn't make it to Zumba today which I was kinda bummed about BUT I ran 5 miles Monday and Wednesday so I didn't feel too bad. Josh had been complaining about his tooth so I decided to take him in and get it checked out. I'm so glad that I did because sure enough it was a cavity. My son will be 8 next month and this is his first cavity ever. I was a little upset but I know that my kids aren't going to have perfect teeth. Needless to say we took care of it and all is better now...

Bubble Day

So they say its bubble day...
At church the kids got bubbles so we went out and blew them in honor of bubble day. Gee how many times can one say bubble? lol

It was funny to see them blow bubbles at each other and the funniest part was Josh whispering in the bubbles as he blew them. He would say "Elijah you’re my best friend"... If you've watched Sponge Bob then you'll know that there was an episode of him and Patrick blowing bubbles and saying secrets to each other while they blew them... Apparently on Sponge Bob when the bubbles pop you can hear the secret. Well it didn't happen here, but I sure thought that was cute!

Elijah was smelling the bubbles... Gosh I sure hope he doesn't want to eat soap like his momma did when she was pregnant. YIKES!

It was really nice out today and the boys have been bugging me to go out and ride their bikes... I took them to ride their bikes out at Centennial park and then after they were done we played at the park.
Of course they had so much fun running around chasing each other that all I did was sit and watch. We ran into some ducks that Elijah wanted to pet. Pet??? Yeah he also asked if we could take it home.... He's crazy!

Of course school was canceled today..... So what did we do..... We played all day:) The boys had so much fun outside with the ice/snow and it was really hard to get them to come inside.

One of my most favorite things is letters that I have saved from my hubby when we were in high school and when he was in the air force. It's nice to go back and read them every now and then... I have tons of letters:)

My second fav is a tea set that was given to me by my mother. It was given to her by my grandmother. I'm sure I will pass it on to a daughter (if I ever have one) or a daughter-in-law

Well we are back from our trip. If you didn't know we were in Houston this week. We left on Wednesday and got back today, which is Monday. I know that I should be doing other things that are probably more important like laundry and stuff, but I just don't feel like it so instead I'm blogging. We had a fun time and like always I wasn't ready to come back. I love being around my family. Who doesn't??? I didn't really take a lot of pictures this time. So here are only a few....

His report card that is.... I picked Josh up from school today and he had a BIG smile on his face:) He said he made straight A's and that he was going to get to eat donuts with the principal. I'm very proud of this little boy. And of course why not reward him for doing good in school right???

His dad took him to game stop and bought him a brain quest game for the DS. I like these games. They actually teach the kids things about science, math, English, and history. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

And of course I couldn't leave my little munchkin out. He was pretending to be a star wars clone trooper:)

Well I heard this song today at church and immediately I thought of Elijah because it is his favorite song. I got a little video of him singing it the other day while he was listening to his mp3 player. Oh and I hope you enjoyed the drummer this morning because it is more than likely his last Sunday playing. So since everyone put pictures up of their Christmas tree I thought I would too! Well here's the thing with finding the perfect tree.... Eric and I always disagree with what tree to get because he always wants a big one and I would just like one that I can reach without having to get on a ladder to decorate it. As you can see I lost again this year. Don't get me wrong, I love our tree and I am very thankful for it.

AND........I would like to say that I am very proud of Joshua. He had his seekers Christmas party on Monday and they did a gift exchange and Josh thought it would be very nice if he brought the gift that he got to his little brother instead. I told him that was very sweet of him and that maybe Santa would see that he has been a good boy this year!

Well today is the first time that Josh will be sleeping over at a friends house. Usually we have them spend the night at our house but I finally gave in. This is really hard for me so I am pretty nervous and excited at the same time for him. I know most of you are thinking that I must be crazy for not letting him spend the night before but you see when I was little I had a few issues with sleep overs. My good friend lived right next door and when I would sleep over at her house I always cried for my mom. My mom would have to come and get me like at 3 in the morning so after a few times of that my mom just wouldn't let me go anymore until I was way older. I guess I just really missed my family. So that is why I have been holding off on this subject with Joshua. Hopefully he has a great time and won't call me at 3in the morning crying that he wants to come home. BUT... if he does then I'll be very understanding because I've been there:)

Well after a looong trip to Houston and back we are now home. We had a wonderful time with family. We took the kids ice skating on Saturday and I managed to take a few pics of them. It was fun and really not that hard. If you roller blade then you'll find it pretty easy. I did fall though and boy did it hurt. My bottom was sore the next day:( We had an early Thanksgiving since everyone had to work this week and it was yummy. We got to eat our favorite food. TAMALES!!!! Yes, that's right and they are sooo good because they are home made:) Well I hope that everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

There were different booths at the festival that we went to. They were all about different cultures and they even let me try on this kimono.

It's 6:07 and I have now been home for a total of 20 minutes. Josh had is tournament today and his first game started at 11 so we were told by the coach that we should be there by 10:30. So we did as we were told and waited and waited and waited. It turned out that the schedule was running behind and we ended up not playing our first game till 2:00. It was freezing cold outside and we had already waited for 3 and a half hours. After the first game if you lost you had to play again that same day so since we didn't win we had to play at 4:30. Mind you I'm still at the field and it is still sooo stinkin' cold outside. So between the break we went to McDonald's ate dinner and went back to the field for our last and final game of the season. It was a crazy and cold day. I'm just glad to be home and now I can relax in my warm bed and call it a night.

Well in honor of all our soldiers I just wanted to post something special for them. I went to Joshua's program Friday...it was for all our veterans and it made me so proud to be an American.

It's that time again... We picked our costumes out and of course they were some sort of action hero. At first I thought gee lets be something a little different but no the boys just wouldn't budge. So here we have Indy and Batman. I'm sure we will see a ton of these this Halloween!

Alright so I've been slacking a little on my blog.... Things have been a bit crazy with soccer practice and awanas and not to mention the house hold duties that I haven't had time! Well I figured I would post some pictures of Josh and his soccer team. They had two games this past Saturday one was at 2 and the other at 3. I have to say that I am very proud of Josh. Their first game was horrible. Most of the kids on his team have never played before and they lost pretty bad! The score ended up being 12 - 0... (OUCH) Well we have seen a big difference and the last game they played they lost but this time the score was only 1 - 0. Much better if you ask me. Josh doesn't really care about the score though. He just likes playing and having fun and that is all we want too!

Oh and if you hadn't payed attention.... I only have 17 days left until the Tulsa run. YIKES!!!! What was I thinking?????

Okay so I picked up my camera and was about to take a picture when I realized that my batteries were dead. :( Bummer right! So I picked up my cell and took a quick pic of the boys tonight. It is soooo cute to see Elijah in cubbies. He has been waiting all year long for this and now the day has finally come. No more nursery! He's a BIG boy now:) I'm lovin' it and also super excited for him to learn his verses. Now brother on the other hand... he's a pro so he was telling Elijah how to do everything and helping out with his bible verses. I'm sure they are both going to have a fun year!!!

Elijah's new thing is building with Legos and he loves to build airplanes. I told him he needs to build a big enough one so that we can fly to grandmas house. lol He has them all over the house and the other day I accidentally stepped on one and he was very upset. Here's my post for the week. I haven't had a chance to put pics up of my handsome little boys so here are some we took a while back. I also thought I would let you know that I reached my goal of three miles so now I don't have any worries about the Tulsa run. I actually ran a little over 3 so I know that I can do it!!! It was funny how my body just felt like it could keep going after the 3 miles that day. They say its a runners high... Anyway I hope everyone is having a great week:)

Update on my Grandpa

They disconnected him from the machine last Monday because there wasn't much they could do for him. He has struggled with his intestines for quite some time now and has had a ton of surgeries. ( too much detail to get into about them)While in the hospital he ended up getting MRSA and staph so they said there was no way his body would be able to fight it all. As the week went on he only had one lung working. His kidneys had failed and intestines were no longer working because they had so many holes in them. So really all they could do was wait. Well, my mom called this morning and said that my grandpa had passed away. I just wanted to say thank you again to everyone that has been praying for our family. We have definitely felt them.

I haven't done my post of the week so I figured I would today. Josh is really loving school. His best friend is in his class again this year so that was a plus. Elijah on the other hand is having such a hard time with Josh being away. He cries every morning when we drop Josh off and through out the day he asks where Josh is about a 100 times! I feel so bad for him:(
And Eric is back at work this week:) so I am trying to catch up on all my house work. He makes me so lazy when he's at home.
Oh and by the way I'm sure you guys have noticed my little count down on the side. I've been working really hard and now I'm up to about 2 miles with out having to stop. I've been struggling with some leg pain which I'm sure is just soreness or lack of stretching. Hopefully nothing major! I can't believe I use to run 5 miles every morning!! If only I was in shape like that again...

Josh finally figured out how to ride his bike with out training wheels!!!! We tried earlier this year but he said he just wasn't ready. I finally told him that if he would learn how to ride w/out training wheels that we would get him a new bike. So he was all for it! Yes I bribed him.... It worked though and now he won't slow down. I tried to get a few pics of him and they're a bit blurry but like I said he was going pretty fast.

Crazy Busy Day

Okay so this is a very long post! I had so many pictures to upload it was crazy! My sweets is on vacation this week so we figured we would take the boys out and just fill their day with fun. Or like Joshua says " Its family fun day" We started our morning with the zoo and I have to admit it was actually nice because the sun wasn't out and it wasn't 110 degrees outside. We picked a great day to go.

Oh this was the best part. The kids just loved feeding the birds. Which is a little funny to me because at home nobody ever wants to feed them. We have to little parakeets named Lo lo and La la and I always get to pick up after them. Yay for me!

And here is our friend Narius. That probably isn't his name, but Elijah was watching animal planet one day and they were talking about a sea lion named Narius so now he just assumes that they are all called Narius.

After the zoo we thought we would check out that Tulsa air and space museum. It was pretty neat to check out the planes and the kids got to play the different simulator games that they had. Josh was a good pilot, but Elijah... not so much. He crashed his plane into a tree!

After the museum we ate lunch at our favorite restaurant. CHEDDARS!!!!

We finished our "Family fun day" with a movie. We saw Iron man and it was really good!

Well the boys were telling me how they wanted a pool so we went to wal-mart and found this... It's a good size for them. I didn't want a big pool yet. Elijah makes me too nervous so I think we will wait until he takes swimming lessons. The boys had so much fun and I love it because afterwards they took a nice long nap for me.

to the Tulsa zoo! I had been telling the boys for about a week that we would be going to the zoo, but with all the rain I just wasn't sure if we would make it out there. Thankfully, it didn't rain and it was actually really hot out!
